Octavo, 64 pp. in illustrated wraps. Contains Ken Kesey's earliest commercially published appearance, a story titled 'The First Sunday In September.' A strong associtation copy, inscribed by Kesey at his contribution to the artist Tom Hardy. The inscription is in pen and apparently early, pre-dating his his later day-glo paint and glitter signatures. This copy is additionally inscribed to Hardy by editor Robert Paul at the title page. A good association between a group of men who played a significant role in the postwar cultural heritage of the Pacific Northwest. About Fine, with a tiny nick in the paper covering the head of the spine and a touch of rubbing to the heel.
