Condition: Good. Good condition book with like DJ. Boards are clean with minor wear. Content clean with light toning to pages. Good DJ with light edge wear namely small closed tears and chipping to spine ends in protective sleeve.
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Missing. Presumed first; no later publication info provided. Inscribed on verso of FFEP by Turbese Lummis in October of 1950. Dustjacket is missing, but flap of DJ with plot summary is pasted onto rear pastedown. Red cloth boards show wear and (on spine) sunning, with black lettering/titling. Corners and edges of boards show softening and wear normal in a book of this age. Top edge of text block has been tinted, perhaps a dark red, but this has muted over the years. Edges of text block are toned. Binding remains secure, pages clean. From the Gloria Grace Griffen collection of Western Americana collection at the University of Nevada with bookplate on the front pastedown. Signed by Author.
