After the Mexican Revolution Spratling decided to reestablish a silver industry in Taxco in 1931. Profusely illustrated exhibition catalog with full page b/w photographs of silver ware, jewelry, utensils, silver service pieces, and decorative objects. The exhibition at the Centro Cultural Museum was the first in recent memory to honor a foreigner for his contributions to Mexican culture. Text in Spanish. Wrappers slightly faded with wear along edges and small chips; rubbed. Wrappers in overall good-, interior in very good condition.
