The bottom corners of the front endpaper & half-title are creased. The gutters are slightly darkened. Good. First edition.Captain Mallet, President of Revillon Freres, writes in his introductory note that he spends part of each year inspecting the company's fur-trading posts. He writes in this book about his experiences in the Far North and the people he has met.
