Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Illustrated by Edward J. Detmold (illustrator). Reprint. 192 p. 21 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards, with colour paste-down illustration that matches one of the internal plates. Light wear to the edges and corners, with a couple of tiny dings to the top edges. Spine is darkened with spots, and the titles on it dulled. Top edge of text block has a tiny soil spot. Inside pages are clean and unmarked overall with some toning. An English edition of a children's book by Belgian writer Maurice Maeterlinck, which describes the life and activity of bees. Illustrated with five colour plates.
