Book First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Rare first edition signed by Maximillian Mugge, the author. Describes his experiences in the Armed forces in WWI, though he spent most of his time in the UK due to his weak heart. Mugge was a naturalised British subject with Hanoverian ancestry and a distinguished author. His account is incisive and critical of what sees as stupidity at every turn, though he has much praise for the average Tommy. Red cloth with one inch chip to side of spine. Presentation inscription in German and signed by him in London 1929. 0.0. Signed by Author(s).
