Condition: Good. 1946 signed and inscribed first edition, Ward Ritchie Press (Los Angeles, California), 5 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches tall green cloth hardbound in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, gilt lettering to spine, [8], 173 pp. Slight rubbing and edgewear to covers, with very slight bumping to fore edge of front cover. Nicely inscribed and signed by the author on the dedication page. Otherwise, apart from very slight age toning, a very good copy - clean and unmarked - in a somewhat soiled, torn and edgeworn dust jacket which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve. ~SP37~.

Full green cloth in original illustrated dust jacket. 173, [1] pages. Signed by Prouty to title page. Jacket with small bits of faint staining to rear, light shelf wear, tiny chip from upper spine. Offsetting to endpapers. Generally clean, sound.
