'Based on the Paramount Picture / A Lucien Hubbard Production / Directed By William A. Wellman' and 'Illustrated with Scenes From the Photoplay'. Missing all front matters between the illustrated front paste-down and the title page. Still present, fully legible, and securely bound, however, are all 249 lightly age-tanned text pages and seven plates with fourteen illustrations from the Best Picture, Production at the first Academy Awards. Blue cloth with black spine lettering, black decoration and a text block on the upper board. Cocked spine; bumped and/or rubbed spine head and tail edges (including a touch of fraying in the former). No ex-library markings.
