Contains 8 woodblock color prints illustrating various Pueblo Indian dances, including typical dances most frequently seen in New Mexico: Corn, Eagle, Basket, Buffalo, Deer, Comanche, and Matachina. Includes a calendar of annual pueblo dances and a bibliography. This is a used book. Pages are clean and bright with no markings, notes, or highlighting. Covers show only minor shelf wear; front panel shows a crease. Very slight water stain on parts of both covers. No owner's marks or bookplates, not ex-library. Stapled binding is secure. Corners not bumped.

Solid and VG+ in its off-white wrappers, with just a touch of wear at the spine ends and former owner bookplate at the front free endpaper. Internally very sharp, with no writing or markings to speak of. A skillful, charming Valentine to Mexico City and its rich history from American artist (Santa Fe) Dorothy Newkirk Stewart.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. First Edition. Very scarce 1st in good condition, with the fragile dj chipped and in fragments (the serigraph on the front panel still intact). Textblock now detached from the covers as the staples have completely detached. Staples tight in terms of binding the pages together, the pages are not loose or loosening. Front and rear covers only attached by an .5 inch portion proceeding the first staple--otherwise the covers would be split into two panels like the dj. Front dj panel detached from front flap and rear panel. Though the extended covers are torn, the pages within are clean and unmarked. A fascinating book and a masterpiece of small press art.
