Hard bound in maroon cloth, two volume set, lvii + Pp349 (v. I) and Pp393 (v. II). Top corners to volume one are bumped and spine ends show slight fraying. Corners on volume two are heavily rubbed and with some fraying to spine ends, particularly to head of spine. Rear pastedown to volume two has some pencilled notes and a previous owner's signature at top of the front free endpaper. The boards on volume two are also quite heavily scuffed. Despite these defects, this is an unmarked set which still retains fairly bright gilt titles to the spines of both vols. 1.12 kilograms unpacked - depending on destination additional postage may be requested. Very good in very good dustwrapper. 2 Volume Hardcover set, maroon cloth with gold stamping on spine, both volumes show rubbing and bumping of spine ends, cloth on spine ends starting to chip and fray on volume 2 and on the top spine end of volume 1, both spines lightly faded, panels rubbed with some light scuffing, vol. 2 shows small white stain and rub mark on bottom of spine, former owners name and date in ink on front end papers, page edges and end pages lightly browned, 3 very small spots of cloth on outer edge of back panel of vol. 1 worn through, some very minor notes in pencil in margins of a few pages of volume 1, both have sound bindings.
