The catalog is composed of a lengthy description of the engineering, application, benefits, and use of the valve resealing machine. The brown paper cover has some creases to the corner and stamping to the top dated 1921. The inside pages are without markings. The catalog is wrapped in brown paper, glued at the spine.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. A vintage softcover trade catalog and catalog supplement by The Leavitt Machine Company, 27 pages and 14 pages (plus a separate Price List in each). Good condition. No publication date stated. The catalog has a saddles stapled binding and is bound in thick tan paper wraps. It is printed on thick, slick paper with many illustrations and photographs throughout. The supplement is stapled to a separate price list and has wraps (matching the rest of the pages) of a thick, slick paper. It is printed in black and white with many illustrations throughout. The catalog and the supplement have been stapled together. A sticker to the upper right corner of the catalog. Three binder holes added to both the catalog and the supplement. Otherwise, pages of the catalog and the supplement are clean and free of writing. Their bindings are tight and strong, with no loose pages. A catalog and supplement advertising different models of Dexter Valve Reseating Machines. The catalog includes introductory descriptive sections outlining different type of machines using valves, the ways they have been improved, and an illustration. With entries for The Dexter Valve Reseating Outfit No. 3 T-L, No. 12 Turret Disc Cutting Machine Recutting A Valve Disc, and the Dexter Patent Disc Cutter, among others.
