HARDCOVER. 1949. First edition. A near fine copy in burgundy boards with gilt lettering on the spine and top board. The boards are unmarked apart from sunfading at the spine tips and a small strip on the bottom edge of the rear board. Apart from light offsetting on the endpapers and a small old tape mark on the front free endpaper the contents (including the rear folding map) are fine and unmarked. The d/w is very good with light soiling and minor chipping at the extremities. Now in a protective cover. Scans available if required.
