Hardcover. Condition: Very Good Plus. I am not going go pretend that I understand who this Werner Von Trapp is? I read the entire book and tried to research him with little to no success. His story appears to be that he is the son of Maria Von Trapp, this being the step daughter of Maria Von Trapp from the movie. Maria, the daughter, played "Louisa" in the movie. He states that he was born in 1950 and that his mother left him in the Saint Frenz Saales Convent in Germany, where he was raised. He states that his mother came back later in his life, but the Sisters at the Convent would not let him go with his Mother. He was later told by one of the Sisters that he was a Von Trapp. He left the Convent at age 21. I did searches on this individual and could literally find nothing. There is a Werner Von Trapp that was born in 1950 that died in 1991 in Yuma, AZ- which would be a year after this book was published in 1990. I could find no reference to him in any of the Von Trapp Family (Sound of Music) history. If you know anything about this individual please let me know! Book is signed on his picture page facing the second title page. Hardback book of 28 pages is in Very Good to Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. No writing or marks other than the signature. Outside cloth covers are nice with gold gilded lettering to the front cover. Signed.
