Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 8vo. Pp. 182. Text in tagalog. Title page vignette. Bound in dark red cloth with gilt lettering on front cover and spine. Original rear cover of wraps, of stiff, glossy stock, bound in at rear. Dampstain to that cover. Text block with age toning consistent with cheap paper stock. The curious presentation of an Inuit novel written in tagalog underscores a fascinating cross-cultural pollination. Perhaps on the most sweltering Philippine days dreams are of icebergs and glaciers, whereas the Inuit, during a relentless blizzard, think of palm trees and swimming in lagoons. Scarce.
