First Edition
Hardcover first edition - First printing. A book, which uses the game of golf as an analogy to "the greater game of life." Murdoch commented that it is "difficult to decide whether this is a book of theology with golf overtones, or a golf book with a highly moral tone" - however, the publishers had no such difficulties - the back cover of the quite uncommon dust jacket contains a list of "religious books worth while." 143 pp. Very good in red cloth with black lettering in a fair dust jacket (tape reinforcement to the interior lower edge, some discoloration to the spine of the dj, general rubbing and edgewear, but an intact and quite decent copy of a very hard to find dust jacket.).
