Book
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Smith, Charles (illustrator). Third Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good. Third Edition. A 40-page brochure that folds out into page dimensions of 9"x12". Booklet published as a tourist guide to Virginia in 1930, bragging about its highways and showing cars of the day motoring along. More bragging about the airfield at Richmond, as well as text and photos of tourist sites and historical attractions still popular nearly 75 year later. Most interesting of all is a map of Virginia [24.5" x 45.5"] in back pocket of folder. In color, the map is entitled: "Virginia Showing the Geography and Physical Features of the State." The map is in near perfect condition, perhaps only to have been unfolded to measure it for this description. The illustrator's signature appears on the front cover at the bottom, almost unnoticed. Size: 9" x 12".
