Previous owner bookplate, cover have gilt stamping and a pictorial paper label, covers show some scuffing and rubbing at edges and spine ends, spine is just lightly sunned with a bit of soiling to rear cover, otherwise a Very Good copy. No DJ.

    hard cover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. First Edition. Boston:Lothrop Lee and Shepard Co. (1926). 1st edition. 261pp. Illustrated by Florence Liley Young in two colors. Hardcover with dust jacket.  Decorated boards in very good, clean condition.  Internally, end pages lightly age toned with "Christmas 1926" inked to the inside front board, otherwise pages clean and bright.  The dust jacket is present but in poor condition, soiled, with a tear across the bottom edge of the front panel and missing 2 inches off the spine and 2-3 inches of the rear panel, and an additional tear across half of the rear panel, spine and half of the front panel about 2.5 inches from the top. It is not price clipped.
