    First Edition. Singed inside the front cover by Louis Gossett, Jr. who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor that year. Oversize format, 9 inches x 12 inches. Fine condition. The hosts for the event were Liza Minelli, Dudley Moore, Richard Pryor, and Walter Mathau and it was held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles on April 11, 1983. The top winners of the night included Gandhi for Best Picture, Richard Attenborough for Best Director (Gandhi), Ben Kingsley for Best Actor (Gandhi), Meryl Streep for Best Actress (SophieÕs Choice), Louis Gossett, Jr. for Best Supporting Actor (An Officer and a Gentleman), Jessica Lange for Best Supporting Actress (Tootsie), John Briley for Best Original Screenplay (Gandhi), Costa Gavras and Donald E. Stewart for Best Adapted Screenplay (Missing, based on the book by Thomas Hauser), and Begin the Beguine for Best Foreign Film, directed by Jose Luis Garci.
