Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Published by Yale University Press in 2017 to accompany a travelling exhibition that started at The Louvre Paris 20th February- 22nd May 2017 and moved on to the National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin (17th June-17th September) and finishing at The National Gallery of Art Washington (22nd October 2017- 21st January 2018), here is the first hardback printing of Adriaan Waiboer's Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting: Inspiration and Rivalry. 304 pages, magnificent colour photographs of the exhibits throughout, black cloth binding, gilt lettering, the book is in very good condition with a modicum of bumping to the boards. The dust jacket is also very good. The book is extremely heavy, tipping the scales at 2.2kg's unwrapped and therefore, faced with the hugely damaging corporate carrier increases of the last 2 years additional postage must be applied to areas outside the UK as follows: Europe £8, Rest of the World £18. Please bear this in mind before ordering from these destinations. British postage is unaffected.
