A pair of volumes collecting the tales of Hans Christian Andersen, "The Longer Stories" here found in a "very good" 1948 octavo hardcover with NO dust jacket, the second volume being a more recent (1983) hefty octavo trade PAPERBACK, of 1,101 pp., as-new unread but with the corners of the front wrap starting to curl up a bit, the pair weighing in at about 4-1/2 pounds (2.1 kilos), which would make shipment outside the U.S. fairly pricey, the pair now combined into a single lot to consolidate domestic shipping. Reduced from $16.
