Rare impression alençonnaise. ''Louis Hébert a été le premier typographe à exercer en Alençon depuis Simon Du Bois, mort vers 1530.'' (in Wikipedia). Ayant exercé en premier lieu à La Flèche, il revint s'établir vers 1625 à Alençon. L'ouvrage constitue ''une sorte de Dictionnaire mythologique et géographique pour l'intelligence des anciens poètes. Entre Simon Du Bois et L. Hébert, c'est-à-dire l'espace de près d'un siècle, nous ne trouvons pas d'imprimeur exerçant à Alençon. (in Frère).
