La incursión de lo ordinario como estrategia de formulación en arquitectura se inició incipientemente con la revisión crítica del urbanismo moderno, pudiendo remontar su origen a algunas de las propuestas del Team 10 en el congreso CIAM IX de Aix-en-Provence de 1953.
