First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: New. Dust Jacket Condition: New. 1st Edition. Not a book but a new, 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm vinyl LP record -- presumably stereo but not stated -- Paramount Records PAS-5028, still sealed in original shrink wrap. Liner notes by B.B. King, who asserts of the (then) young guitarist: "I have seen many, many performers over the years and I have to say that 'Bull' shows the potential to be one of America's Greatest." Not on this piece of fuzz-tone pop, unfortunately. Variously described as "pop soul in parts, more psychedelic blues-rock in other," what should probably have been a solo blues guitar outing was overproduced (by Jerry Friedman -- guitar, piano and organ -- and Andy Muson -- bass), and unfortunately, young "Bull" Gordon was also allowed to sing. Friedman also wrote most of the selections. Reduced from $22.
