Condition: Fair. 1935. Sixteenth Edition. 126 pages. Dust jacket over red cloth with gilt lettering. Rough-cut pages. Light foxing, staining and moderate tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Annotations and marginalia in pencil throughout; text remains unaffected. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has slightly heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped dust jacket with minor rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.

Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. The spine is darkened with a little staining and the title panel at the top is worn. Curiously there is another title panel loose inside the book. The front panel has a dent in the top edge and a heavy bump to the bottom corner. The rear panel has a bump to the top corner and two light surface stains. Browning to the page edges. The pages are browned with some scattered light spotting to the pages at the front of the book but are otherwise unmarked. First printing. No jacket.
