Condition: Very good. - An 10 inch high by 8-1/8 inch wide glossy black & white vintage photograph depicting the beautiful Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman embracing Charles Boyer in a scene from "Arch of Triumph". The number "RT-30" is printed in white along the bottom right of the image. There is minor creasing to the edges. Very good. This a vintage publicity photo, not a reproduction, sent out to newspapers and periodicals of the period. Text from a printed press release tipped onto the verso reads: "AT-30 ROMANTIC STARS.Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman as the stars of Erich Maria Remarque's 'Arch of Triumph.' Crop annotations in manuscript pencil and stamp on the verso obscured by manuscript marker. Based on the 1945 novel by Erich Maria Remarque. A complex romantic film noir, in which Dr. Ravic (Boyer) is a refugee doctor practicing illegally in Paris under a false name. He saves Joan Madou (Bergman) from committing suicide after the sudden death of her lover, and helps her land a job singing in a nightclub. The two fall in love, but he is deported. Joan finds herself another man's mistress while Dr. Ravic seeks revenge by hunting for the Nazi officer, Ivon Haake (Laughton). Set in Paris, shot on location in New York and Paris. 8 x 10 inches.
