    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. 1st Edition. B&W Illustrations; C 1912-1913. First San Francisco, edition. This book is in Very Good+ conditoin and was likely issued without a dust jacket. The spine ends of the book covers have some bumping and beginning wear. There is one tiny tear to the top rear spine joint. The multicolored text pages are clean and bright. The front and rear pastedown pages have advertising from Corinthian Grocers. Laid in are a number of the previous owner's clipped recipes, along with a couple of handwritten recipes.

The other a gift certificate honored for One Dollar in payment for Japanese Art or dry goods worth ten dollars or more from the Kisen Company, S.F. which is backed by an actual woodblock print depicting 2 geishas. The contents of the book is beautifully tight & clean without marks or soil. Hinges firm without cracks. Paper covered boards with ads is very clean, sharp, square.
