Folk tunes that reflect both the humility and humour of the people of Saskatchewan, a result, perhaps, of lives negotiated in a somewhat isolated space with a harsh climate. Includes 3 songs in Cree, Sioux, and Assiniboine, a Saulteaux lullaby, as well as Welsh, German, Ukranian, Icelandic, Cree, French, English. 13 tracks on Side 1; 11 on Side 2. Notes, with introduction, lyrics and black and white photographs, in booklet format, stapled and slid in separate pocket from record. Album cover shows light wear, else is clean and bright.
