Rob Caswell (illustrator). Brooklyn: Fantastic Books:, 2021. First edition, Hardcover, New in dust jacket, 305 pp. Cover artwork by: Rob Caswell "Imagine a world without plastic. Imagine a world where something in the environment eats plastic. Imagine arriving on such a world in a space ship. The human colonists in Allen Steele's Sanctuary don't have to imagine it-they have to survive it. After traveling light years to the Earth-like planet of Tau Ceti-e, they have only minutes to abandon ship before the native plastic-eating organism turns their space ship into a death trap of orbiting debris. Now they'll have to survive an 18th-century way of life with the forbearance of the not-exactly hostile-but definitely not friendly-natives." First edition, Hardcover, New in dust jacket,

Wraps. Condition: Very good. Rob Caswell (Letterer) (illustrator). 32 pages plus covers. Profusely illustrated in color. This is Number Three of Six. Michael Gaydos is an American comics artist. At Marvel Comics he has worked with Brian Michael Bendis on Alias, the last storyline of its follow up, The Pulse, and the current sequel comic, Jessica Jones. He has also illustrated the mini-series Powerless and Daredevil Redemption. Gaydos' DC Comics work includes Scorched Earth, the series Manhunter (Vol. 3), issues 31-38, and Pearl, which reunited him with Brian Michael Bendis. His work outside the Big Two include illustrating Virgin Comics' Snake Woman, a story for Fox Atomic Comics' original graphic novel, The Nightmare Factory, and a Devlin Waugh story for 2000 AD. Rob Caswell wrote of himself: I am a child of the Space Age and a largely self-taught artist. but the best way to learn is by doing, and I've been at it since I could lift a pencil. Throw in a lifelong passion for astronomy, sci-fi, and scale modeling, and there you have it - the ingredients for Caswell Stew. Though my educational background is in hard science, my professional career has been a meandering path through many graphics/creative roles (illustrator, writer, editor, computer game design, photography, web design, etc, etc.). For the time being I've settled on "digital print maker". Synopsis of Scorched Earth: The battle for Templar has only just begun. The city is under attack by a mysterious woman in a purple cloak who wields an extraordinary elemental attack: every few hours, a sustained lighting column strikes the city, slowly draining the lives of everyone it touches with its deadly, crackling energy bolts.
