Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Robin Moffett (illustrator). 1st Edition. Duncan McTavish in Switzerland was written by Catherine Chase and illustrated by Robin Moffett. The book was published by Dandelion Press, Inc. in 1978 and appears to be a First Edition but is not specifically stated as such. It DOES have the number line of a First Edition, First Printing. The book is NOTan ex-library copy, it has no dust jacket and is in good + condition. The binding was beginning to tear at the top so I put a clear piece of tape over the entire spine to preserve the integrity of the book. It is 7 1/4" by 9 1/8" and has about 30 pages with colorful illustrations on every page. Thank you!.

Hardcover. Condition: VG+/VG+. Hardcover with orange cloth wrap and color glossy printed dustjacket. 399 pages : illustrations (chiefly color), color maps This item is still in the original unopened plastic wrap. Around 1700, artists in Udaipur began creating large, immersive paintings to convey the mood of the city's palaces, lakes, and mountains. A Splendid Land explores how painters depicted places, mapped terrains, celebrated water resources, and triggered memories to foster political and personal attachments to land. With dazzling works made over a period of two hundred years that extends from Mughal to colonial India, and by drawing upon previously untranslated sources and engaging with the history of the senses, this publication opens early modern art history to new interpretative possibilities, while revealing the visual logic and beauty of Udaipur paintings.
