Reliure plein chagrin rouge avec des cartons biseautés, supra libro aux armes d'Henri d'Artois, décoration à froid et titre en or. Tranches dorées. Feuilles de garde en soie bleu. Reliure avec des traces d'usage surtout aux extrémités. Intérieur avec quelques planches avec des rousseurs ou des tâches. Le tout dans un état acceptable. Exemplaire de la bibliothèque d'Henri d'Artois ( 1820 - 1889 ), duc de Bordeaux, comte de Chambord, prétendant à la couronne de France sous le nom Henri V. Sa collection fût vendue par la maison Maggs de Londres ( étiquette témoin sur la page de garde). L'auteur a écrit une dédicace sur la seconde page de garde '' Au Roi , Hommage très respectueux de son très obéissant et très fidèle sujet Baron de Charette. Album illustré de l'histoire du Régiment français des Zouaves pontificaux. Le régiment était établit en 1860 sous le nom ''Les Tirailleurs Franco-Belge'' pour aider le pape dans sa lutte contre Garibaldi et l'unification d'Italie. L'auteur baron de Charette, peti-fils du Duc de Berry était un légitimiste ardant qui soutenait la candidature d'Henri d'Artois sur la trône de France. La dédicace dans cet album en fait encore une fois de plus la preuve.
