Illustrated throughout with black-and-white images, technical drawings and blueprints of briquetting machinery. Page 9 gives specifications for the briquetting machine and its components. Short descriptive paragraphs give physical dimensions of the whole machine, the rollers, the mold disc, the repress, the pulley, and many more. Pages 10-11 contain a black-and-white illustration of a briquetting machine, capable of producing 5,000 briquettes an hour, and on the facing page, a plan view of the same machine with important components labeled (such as the feed spout, the starting lever, the conveyor drive, the relief spring, and others). Pages 12-14 contain black-and-white illustrations of a conveyor mixer with ore feeder and measuring device, a mechanical lime slacker with automatic pump, and a conveyor mixer with automatic ore feeder and measuring device and mechanical lime slacker. Accompanying these illustrations, on page 15, is a list of specifications for these machines, including horsepower required to run them, and their physical dimensions. Pages 16-17 contain a longer description of the process of briquetting; some aspects of the process (specifically, the process by which the material is fed into the machine) are illustrated with blueprints on the following four pages, which also contain measurements of the physical dimensions of the machine.
