Clemente Cimorra, Gente sin sueloClemente Cimorra (Oviedo, 1900-Buenos Aires, 1957) fue escritor y periodista. Tras los años de juventud y bohemia, vive la guerra civil española permaneciendo desde su inicio fiel a la República y destacando como corresponsal en el frente. Exiliado en Argentina colaboró en rotativos y revistas importantes y desarrolló su carrera de novelista con títulos como España en sí (1941) o Cuatro en la piel de toro (1952), que recuerdan y recrean la patria perdida. También destacó con El bloqueo del hombre (1940) o con este que aquí presentamos, Gente sin suelo (1940), que universaliza el drama de los desterrados. Ya centrado en su país de acogida, pero sin olvidar nunca España, publica novelas como El caballista (1957) y numerosas obras divulgativas y de investigación como El cante jondo. Origen y realidad folklórica (1943), Historia de la tauromaquia (1945) o Historia del periodismo (1946).Josefa Bauló Doménech (Barcelona, 1966) trabaja en Comunicación y Gestión Cultural, es licenciada en Filología Hispánica por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona donde investiga dentro del Taller de Investigaciones Valleinclanianas, colabora con el Grupo de estudios del Exilio Literario (GEXEL) y prepara su tesis sobre libros de viaje en la España del franquismo.
