Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good+. First Edition. This copy presented and inscribed by the author to Grace Harris, another female aviator briefly mentioned in this book. A note from the author written on the front jacket flap reads, "P. S. We weren't supposed to mention names but couldn't resist sneaking you in briefly on page 53. Wish I could of said much more of all you've done-" Covers show light wear, mostly at corners. Binding sound though endpages and page 53 are toned, likely from laid in (and now removed) highly acidic paper. Jacket shows moderate to heavy edge wear but remains complete. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 223 pages; Signed by Author.
