All pages are in fine unmarked condition and the spine/binding is in exceedingly tight and square unread condition (see photographs). "Ronald Reagan's political career has caused considerable attention to be focused on his past career in Hollywood. Such is the nature of politics that his years as a movie actor take on varying degrees of importance. There are those who feel that an actor should not even be involved in politics. Others believe that the acting experience is of great value to the contemporary politician, since it aids one's ability to communicate and persuade in a business in which communication and persuasion are increasingly vital factors. How good an actor was Ronald Reagan? And if it were not for his political emergence, would film historians give him a place of importance in Hollywood annals? His career as a Hollywod name spanning a period of thirty or so years speaks for itself. Admirers, both the public and the critics, lauded his fine performances in Kings Row; Knute Rockne, All American; The Hasty Heart; The Winning Team and, of course, as the on-leave soldier in The Voice of the Turtle. All were performances by a man who had learned his trade well. He made numerous (and trivial) "B" films, but seldom has he been criticized for being less than convincing within his range. The Films of Ronald Reagan presents the complete acting career of this performer so frequently characterized as "able" and "likable." His fifty-three motion pictures are an interesting segment of Hollywood lore. Each film is presented with casts, credits, synopses and production notes, along with some critical opinions. Three hundred and fifty photographs, many extremely rare, illustrate Reagan's career. It was a most respectable career. Only his most captious political opponents can say otherwise." - from the inner front jacket flap.

[52] pp.; 21 x 24 cm.; sewn bound; black-and-white; edition size unkown; unsigned and unnumbered; offset-printed Two volume exhibition catalogue published in conjunction with two-part show held March 14 ? May 18, 2014 and May 25 ? August 3. "Other Primary Structures revisited the premise of and built upon the Museum's seminal 1966 exhibition Primary Structures: Younger American and British Sculptors, the first American museum exhibition to survey the style now known as Minimalism. Primary Structures introduced the public to such artists as Carl Andre, Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, Sol LeWitt, Walter De Maria, Robert Morris, and others?figures unknown at the time but soon to become synonymous with a radically new approach to sculpture. Nearly 50 years later, Other Primary Structures revisits this formative moment in art history while also reexamining the period from today's far more global perspective. "Presented in two parts, the first part of the exhibition titled Others 1, examined work created between 1960 and 1967, while Others 2, on view from May 25 ? August 3, presented work created between 1967 and 1970, some of which was directly influenced by the 1966 Primary Structures exhibition at the Jewish Museum." -- publisher's statement. This publication includes a faithful reprint of the original 1966 catalogue published in conjunction with show held April 27 - June 12, 1966. Essay by exhibition's curator Kynaston McShine. No Binding. Condition: Fine. Tony Urquhart (illustrator). 1st Edition. 64pp (last three leaves blank); unbound folded sheets (comprising 8 loose gatherings); 319 x 232 x 5 mm. Proof-sheets of this long poem with prose asides, entertaining the mind of genius. Including 12 graphic duotone digressions by Tony Urquhart anatomizing a gear-mechanism. While an edition of 500 copies was projected, only 180 were bound, because of the difficulty in producing the eight circular die-cut colour reproductions by Urquhart, which were tipped-in to bound copies (here absent). The colour images were conceived as viewed through the lens of Leonardo's conjectured telescope.
