Wrappers. Condition: Good. Andy Warhol (illustrator). First Paperback Printing. Unpaginated. Approximately 260 pages. Paperback. Texts in English. Wear, rubbing, and some soiling to the edges and corners of the covers, some of which have been bent and are somewhat dogeared. A tantalizing inscription in ink on the half title page to the previous owner "As you found me everywhere, I'm shure (sic) you'll find me in this book! N.Y. March-April 81 [illegible signature]." Since this is a book of snapshots of mostly celebrities, who is the mysterious signature?!! There are no other internal markings. This could be the signature of a non-celebrity in the book, or an inscription written as a joke. Or it could be the signature of one of the many celebrities in the black and white snapshots, from Mick Jagger, Liza Minnelli, Diana Vreeland, Truman Capote, and Eartha Kitt, to Lauren Bacall, Elton John, Muhammed Ali or one of the hundreds of others known and not as well known.

Association copy, inscribed by the author on the front endpaper in the year of publication, "To Bill Zwecker, with fondness, Bob Colacello 2014 Chicago." The recipient, Bill Zwecker, was a longtime entertainment and celebrity journalist. A Chicago native and second-generation newspaper star (his late mother, Peg Zwecker, was the fashion editor of the Sun-Times and Chicago Daily News), Zwecker began his journalism career in the 1980s and has since interviewed some of the most renowned celebrities across a breadth of industries. He has been a frequent contributor to numerous national news and entertainment programs including Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, Showbiz Tonight, Extra, and the Today Show. In 2018, Zwecker married Chicago Realtor Tom Gorman, his partner of 17½ years. In fine condition. Cover design by Linda Huang. Author photograph by Jonathan Becker. "This is a first-rate sweeping memoir of an astonishing cultural phenomenon. Gossipy, gutsy, and gripping. A work of startling immediacy and convincing honesty" (Kirkus Reviews).
