The dust jacket shows only a tiny closed tear at the top of the spine edge. The book contains 13 stories from Seuss with three that are no longer in print due to insensitive material in the stories (And to Think that I saw it on Mulberry Street, If I ran the Zoo, and McElligot's Pool). Each story has a short essay from well known people who had something to say about Seuss and his work. There are photos of Dr Seuss, sketches, and political cartoons of his included. A treasury of his classic stories.
