First Edition
Later printing, 1912. An association copy: Unmarked, but from the library of Wallace Stegner. Co-written by Conrad and Ford Maddox Ford, one of three books they did together. An oceangoing romantic adventure set in the Caribbean. We don't know the extent of Stegner's sentiment toward Conrad or Ford, but surely they were influences. Blue cloth with gilt and embossed anchor design on front panel. With the Ex Libris bookplate of one George Forest Barnett on the front pastedown. Very good with rubbing to corners, edges, and spine ends. Very small tears to cloth at spine tail.
