Hard Cover. Condition: Very Good -. Small red/brown cloth hardcover without dust jacket, gilt to all edges, undated (but c1900/1915, ink signature dated "1916"), 185 pages plus illustrations;---gilt lettering and decoration and embossed decorations in black on front cover and spine (back cover has less embossing and no colour contrast), all gilt very bright and clear ---light shelf wear to cover edges and corners, free front endpaper removed and split starting at that hinge although text still tight in binding despite developing looseness, several ink signatures on blank pages but all text pages fresh and white, very clean and unmarked, hardly a trace of foxing, overall a presentable copy of this very scarce book.
