Hardcover. [iv] 83p., sixth printing, maroon cloth boards with gilt titling; illustrations cloth spine is a bit toned, no dust jacket, residual bookplate on pastedown endpaper, else very good. Bad southern Negro dialect poetry. The quote on the rear cover jacket (not present) makes me reconsider J. Frank Dobie's humanity; "She knows what's in a niggerhead from de mouf up." The illustrations though technically well-done are just as infuriating.
