Volume two has illustrations of House in Cheyns Walk, Chelsea; and The Heights, Witley, from a sketch by Mrs. Allingham. Volume three contains Portrait of George Eliot engraved by G. J. Stodart; The Priory Drawing Room; and facsimile of Eliot's handwriting. Poem glued on front flyleaf To George Eliot "You tell of rapture felt by human hearts" but glue marks around edges of pasting. Owner's name, edge wear to binding.
