Before the Great Depression, this League focused their attention on the operation of the Junior League Home for Convalescent Children - with the proceeds of this book going towards the care of undernourished and convalescent children. Recipes attributed to members of the community. Twelve pages of handwritten recipes by the owner, Mabelle D. Mallory - a Bradford, Pa. resident who made a trip to Dallas in Nov. 1929. Interior clean, spine cracked but holding, boards heavily rubbed. Light green oil cloth boards. Good.
