Wright edited the Virginia City Enterprise, where he interacted with Mark Twain. A superb copy of a handsome book, printed by Arlen and Clara Louise Philpott. Cloth-backed patterned boards. 7 1/4" x 10 1/4". Dan De Quille was the local and mining editor of the Virgina City Territorial Enterprise newspaper during the glory days of the Comstock Lode bonanza. Mark Twain was on the staff. De Qulle later wrote The History of the Big Bonanza, one of the best accounts of life during the Comstock boom. BCC 165.
