Inside the front cover is pasted and old Christmas card, half title page has a short gift inscription in fountain pen dated 1931. No other markings. I found a rare small spot, book is pretty clean, all illustrations intact.

The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has some edgewear and a few chips and tears, the largest to the rear corners, about 2-3 percent paper loss overall. The slipcase is more of a box made of lightweight cardboard and printed with the same design as the dustjacket. The slipcase is in fair condition, somewhat soiled with edgwear and some short tears, it no longer fits the book since we added the mylar dustjacket protector (it was a tight fit to begin with). .
