185x125mm (7"x5"). Soft cover, sewn. First edition. One of a series of single new poems by young Cambridge poets, edited by J. Bronowski and J. M. Reeves. Four unpaginated leaves, four printed pages including title; poem with wood-engraved headpiece. Original grey paper wrappers with flaps, printed in black with wood-engraved illustration at front and titles etc at both front and rear. Front wrapper toned towards lower edge, illustration unaffected; light toning towards other edges of front and towards all edges of rear. Rear wrapper also with single tan spot-stain of diameter up to 2mm and two tan trails of widths up to 3mm and lengths about 10mm. Spine with splits of lengths 40mm from head and 30mm from foot, shorter splits along fold of sheet forming blank initial & final leaves within. Contents clean and bright. GOOD+ copy.
