Condition: Good. 1883. No Edition Remarks. 535 pages. No dust jacket. Quarter bound black leather with brown cloth covered boards. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Ink stamps and writing to front free end-paper. Dedication page has been clipped. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Leather has peeling and loss.
