Book
Soft cover. Condition: Poor. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Revised Edition. A reading or reference copy only of this 1938 edition which is a revision or update to the original 1930 publication. 216 pages. Per title page: "With an Appendix and 15 Illustrations". Introduction by P F Warner. Book One (up to page 158) is the original 1930 work written by Bradman; Book Two is the section by Bruce Harris bringing The Don's story up to 1938 (pages 159-189); then a statistical Appendix. Though a softback, it does have a dust jacket which is in extremely poor condition: several tears at top left of front and top of spine, which have been amateurishly repaired; marks and one purple stain on front; spine and rear marked; all creased though information on front flap is very clear. Book itself also very poor: covers marked and the same purple stain has affected the front cover; binding weakness showing between cover and first page; a degree of foxing almost throughout; several instances of pages being stuck together with damage caused when separating (this has appeared to happen mostly where the illustrations are concerned). This is quite a scarce book but, to emphasize, this is a reading or reference copy only.
