Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Oblong small quarto. Black canvas tape spine and flexible marbled paper wrappers. Penciled signature, place, and date by DuBois inside front wrap. Consists of eight unprinted leaves on which are nine drawings by DuBois, some of single subjects, others with several different smaller sketches. The work of a reasonably dexterous child or young teenager, DuBois was born in 1869, her father was a farmer. Includes images of two houses, a church, leaves, animals, glasswear, birds, etc. The houses and church were likely drawn from life.
