Fiction includes most notably the complete serial installments (parts 1 - 7 of 7) of The DA Breaks a Seal, a Doug Selby novel by Erle Stanley Gardner. Other fiction and articles include: Jimmy Stewart's Finest Performance (parts 1 & 2 of 2 - 12/8 & 12/15) about Stewart's service as a bomber pilot in WW II; The Cities of America - Los Angeles (12/15 - 7th of a series) & The Cities of America - Madison (1/5 - 8th of a series) by George Sessions Perry; Sweet Land of Liberty (12/22) by Hal Borland. Specific comments on individual issues are: 12/1 - small closed tears to the front cover, a small closed tear at the bottom near te spine of page 7/8, and damp stains with some bleed at the bottome corner of pages 9 -12, 23/24 & 119 - 126; 12/8 - pages 63 - 66, loose at top staple, corner fold on pages 107 - 112; 12/15 - 1.5" x 1" "v-chip" at the middle of the fore edge of the front cover; 12/22 - Mild edge wear & a closed to the fore edge of the front cover.; 12/29 - 4" x 4" damp stain & bleed to the top right corner throughout that gradually diminishes and fades somewhat, .5" closed tear to at the middle of the fore edge of the front cover; 1/5 - small closed tear to the back cover; and 1/12 - pages 57 - 60 (center pages) are loose A very good set with the complete serial installments of a Doug Selby novel, plus vintage WW II related stories, articles and ads. A heavy, oversize set that will require additional postage.
