Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. B.T. Batsford Ltd., 1949, second edition. Blue cloth hardback, 4to size, in very good condition in its original thick paper dust jacket with laid on colour illustration of St Paul's from Bankside by Cyril A. Farey. The jacket has a browned spine and some foxing spots, but is otherwise in very good condition, not price-clipped and free from tears, in a protective wrapper. The book has a very interesting owner inscription, that of Brian Secourable de la Camp, Comte de la Cambe, on the front pastedown, and is otherwise clean and bright. The book is lavishly illustrated with architect's drawings and plans, with many plates in colour, others in monochrome, and many line drawings in the text. 68 plates and one fold-out. 96 pages.
