Frederick Richardson. (illustrator). 252pp, (5.25 x 7.25 inches), color illustrations. Only Fair condition, hard cover, no dust jacket. The covers are worn and faded, coerners and edges frayed. Spine repaired with plack cloth tape. I think the book has actually been rebound because the front cover is from a "fourth" reader, and the endpapers have been replaced. The front free endpaper is missing. The contents are tanning, plenty of smudges to pages and page edges. Several tears to pages. some long, some short. I did not try to repair them, but it would be easy to do. The binding is sound. The illustrations are in only 3 or 4 colors: beige, brown, gray and black. Stories by various authors.
